What? I can't hear you!
So I've had the flu for the last 3 days. It's part of life, and I'm over it. However, I also have double inner ear infections. Also part of life, I know. However, the pressure in my right eardrum reached it's peak on Tuesday night and my eardrum ruptured, causing me to lose all hearing in my right ear and a lot of blood. I went to the Dr. and he told me I have the flu (duh!) and when he looked in my ear he said "holy shit!" So my options as of yesterday were to wear a cotton ball in my ear at all times until the 19th, next Thursday, at which time I will be re-evaluated. At this point I have a 10% chance of my ear healing itself. Otherwise I'm in for surgery. I'm very thankful that my fiance's sister-in-law's family is loaded and has offered to pay for any operation/flights/hotels/meals that a specialist may require. I am also very thankful to:

Elizabeth for coming by today with a get-well card and butterscotch candies. And the opportunity to see her smile.
To Kelley for offering to pick up anything I may need while she's out.
For Fey trying to convince me that I'm going to be fine.

Jeff for dropping by on his way to work. Have fun at the bars.

I'm tired of the couch. I'm tired of TV I'm tired of reading and knitting. I really want to be at the mall with fey and little Kelly. but I can't stand up long enough. Ah well.
