Just a quick word in. The Mercy Thompson series has successfully railroaded me from one of the things I said I'd work on this week. :) I feel guilty about not writing, but I'll be making up for it today, as well as (ideally) catching up with RP. I think Bianchi's been given enough time to freak out, thank you. Besides, I owe my Jillionary and Qingchu logs for Kyoko and Dino respectively. Will also have Fran spaz over something or another.
Have restocked on my Vanilla syrup and finally brought my own mug to work. Its not my official "tea" mug just yet, I still need to go out and buy that, but have scheduled a trip to MARKO this weekend with the parents so I'll wait until then. I am now also the proud owner of a copy of Cervantes' Don Quixote, which I got at half-price at the Books-for-Less on the third floor. Joining this is Mishima's Runaway Horses (I nearly fell all over myself) and the second book of Diane Duane's Young Wizards. Will be dropping by Sammu's house soon to return the first two books which I borrowed from her, sadly still untouched because of the move and stored here at the office for safekeeping. Will be picking up this series after I finish Mercy Thompson. My appetite for fantasy, it has returned.
Not so sleepy anymore and rather proud of the fact that my Care Bears (the original ones, they're about a year younger than me) collection now has a place in the glass shelf of my room, as well as my "Keeper", the orange ladybug, which I suspect is a toy that nobody my age remembers anymore. =\ I have to look for the Finder that went with him, but am not so sure if he's still around.
Still waiting to hear back from the company clinic as to when I'll be able to take my annual physical exam. Chances are it's within this week and I'm praying for Thursday. APE means I don't work for that day and that means I can go drop by Taft. I have things to loan out and people to see. People I want to see very, very much.
Watched Oktapodi about eight times last night for the sheer fun of it and spent a long time laughing my ass off. Short animated films, you own my soul. I swear, the people who made that mini-film are brilliant. >3
Bowing out for now to finish my reading and to drink my tea. Will be on messenger if anyone needs me. :) Bother anytime.
P.S. Jacki dragondreamfire, my mom apparently had a copy of Women Who Run With Wolves. I have officially staked my claim on it and will be reading it soon. :)
