I have half a mind to buy a faux velvet hoodie so that I can customize by putting cat ears on it. The problem is, the hoods of the ones I see at the GreenHills tiangge (bazaar) aren't deep enough. This is me coming to terms with the truth that bonnets do not flatter me. :3
I still cannot understand why my officemates make such a big deal of me dressing up a little when I come to work. You'd think that they'd never seen me in a dress before. :3
I don't wear skirts or dresses often because I don't own that many anymore, at least those that fit me and are in a style that I would enjoy wearing. I have two dresses at most, that I can wear and wander about in comfortably because they're made out of cotton.
Also, there is much talk about Christmas if only because the company Christmas party is in about two weeks' time and they're still trying to encourage attendance.
I don't think I'm going. It's Sunday and if the last two years are any indication, it will end well past midnight. I would prefer not to be a zombie the next day when I take calls, thank you. Also, it's all the way over at the PICC, which is far, far, far away from my house. No, I think I'll pass. Besides, I am not dressing up as a Disney character. Not quite tall enough to be Maleficent, hee hee.
Speaking of Christmas-y related things. Dad put up the tree yesterday. :3 And true to form, teh bbchu wanted nothing more than to roll around on the plastic branches. We put him on a chair to keep him from doing so. :)
Decorations will go up slowly. I still have to look for the lights and those go on up first. ^^;
Have to start planning the menu for Noche Buena (yes, I know I am early, I do this every year, we shop of the ingredients in advance you see) and will have to confirm with my aunts and uncle in Pasig if they'll be coming over and which dogs will be coming along. There's something of a chance that Tito Rene and Tita Riza might consider spending the holidays at Bacolod after all, since my grandmother (paternal) is arriving from the US sometime early next week.
And now, for the reason why I wanted to put this post up:
Step One
Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun to medium to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friends of friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Once a wish has been granted, it will be crossed off the list.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Lovelies, if you filled out this Christmas meme, link me? I want to see if I can be someone's Christmas elf ♥
As for those who haven't, please comment below on a pairing/character that you'd like my to write fic for; no need for a prompt, my overall theme will be something related to Christmas. :) This is directed particularly to flist people who I can't meet up with in RL to give actual gifts to, but anyone is welcome. Fics will likely be short, a thousand words at most and will be posted on Christmas.
That's all for now. Might spam your flist again later.
