[update] *holds back a cough*

Jun 20, 2008 06:32

Yesterday I got caught in the rain. And I don't mean a drizzle with my head slightly wet. As in clothes soaked through and shivering like a drowned rcat.

I think I need to take something hot today, because I suspect I might come down with the sniffles and colds because of it.

P.S. Bird's nest soup is lovely. I'd forgotten.

this is my life

D'AW! *hugs and cuddles and gives you hot chocolate with marshmallows and whip cream*

That happened to me the other day. Stepped outside and the sun ducked behind these dark clouds, then whoosh, flash flood. XD

UGH, it's horrible. I mean, I have a preference for cold weather and rain, true. But seriously, it was not fun commuting and trying to figure out how the hell I would warm (and dry) myself down.

Crazy weather my country is having.

My country's having crazy weather, too. One day it's scorching hot and the next it's cold and raining and we're about ready to put the heaters on. WTF, weather, WTF.

Ew, bird's nest soup. *wrinkles nose*

XDD Then again, my only experience with it was at my grandma's house, and she has the Magical Ability of making anything somewhat unappetizing.

♥!

I miss hearing from you, you know that? XD Lol. It's not so bad, my first experience with it was in a restaurant with my parents. I just told them that I didn't want them to tell me what goes in it and I'd be fine. :)

How are you?

:D

Ahh, I knew what went into it for years before we ever tried it. My cousins didn't, though, but that made it more fun for my brother and I, I think. *mean* XD

I am... okay! Better when my mom isn't home to nag me, and trying to be somewhat productive despite the weather being warmer than usual. How're you doing?

LOL.

How am I? Pretty good as far as things go. Trying to get my rhythm back and attempting to figure out what the heck to say in my critique for this piece for tomorrow's workshop.

I've had that happen on the way to work. I got soooaked and my shoes made squishy little puddles all through the building. Squish, squish, squish.

I was in sandals. Any other time, I'd probably laugh it off, but am worried I might be coming down with something. Throat's all scratchy and that's worrisome.

Aw man! Hope you'll be okay, Noey.

That happened to me last week -- clothes soaked through, etc. -- but luckily for me I managed to get home soon after and take a bath.

Sigh. Insanely hot days punctuated by sudden heavy storms. *shakes fist at heavens*
