Kam slpwlkngdreamer and I have been working, bit by bit, on her TF!AU, which is set post-movie. Some of you might have actually had me spazzing about plans and characters via AIM/YM, and I swear, I'll get the place and the information up and running, hopefully soon ( Read more... )

^^ Lol. Sorry for confusing you, I'll explain now just so that it more or less makes sense -- it's total crack, really. I thought it up on a whim because I'm weird and zany that way. There's this rock™, it's basically a meteor that screws the whole world over (for the TFs within radius) when it hits Earth's atmo. Picture bits and pieces getting flayed off during the drop, and then particles scattering thanks to wind and nature's best coming into play. We're playing dumb and just putting up the flimsy excuse that Banachek and Wheeljack and Perceptor are still trying to figure out how the darned thing works since this has never happened before. Then again, they've never been on a place quite like Earth before (this is me making bogus assumptions, :x). It doesn't affect carbon-based creatures, i.e. everything alive on Earth. But apparently it affected the TFs... so...

x.x I know it's flaky. But it brings so much funny (which I will share if you want).

^^ And I'm glad you liked the whole take on memory. I'm a big fan of synesthesia, lol, and still hung up on Marcel Proust's Swann's Way which I read last year and it just clicked. And then I guess I can also blame the fact that I was rereading the chapter "Smell" by Diane Ackerman, which discusses smell and it's link to memory in this amazing way.

*dances* Oh! Oh! That's my favorite part. :) I couldn't get it out of my head and I go all *spaz* everytime I reread this thing because each and every reading seems timed so that that part hits where Moonlight just escalates. It's like a mini-movie in my head, the way the light just... *grins goofily* I read it over and over actually, just because it's so... cinematic and I'm glad I managed that. :)

As for mixing DW and 2K7, that's my best friend Kam's slpwlkngdreamer idea. She's more well-versed in TF compared to me because work and life eat me alive each day and she just loves dragging me back to where it's fun. :) onceonthisearth, where this is all set, is her pet project which I'm happy she lets me play in. :) Site's not yet finished, we're still putting it all together, but there'll be stuff soon (I hope), since she's got everything basically mapped out.

Oh, and just because I have to give credit where credit is due. She was the one who pointed me over to your fic. ^^;

And yes, the ending :x which makes me angst because I'm at that point wherein I want to knock both of them together (but then I stop because I'm tinier than Bella and Magnus could probably squish me dead, lol). But you have no idea how happy I am that you enjoyed this. :3 Really.

Kam found him on imeem for me. :) And then I went a-hunting on Multiply for mp3s. :) I'm a pianist (albeit out of practice) and anything to the piano and any artist who plays the piano is a definite must-listen for me. :) Moonlight is my favorite song out of all the ones I've downloaded so far.

x.x I'm not always this hyper, btw in case I come off really insane. It's just that I nearly keeled over when I saw the email notification that you commented, lol. Long story. ^^;

Oh! It sounds kind of like that story I read a while back. It starts the same way: strange meteor crashes into Earth's atmosphere, and when the Transformers go to check, it turns the human. Well, yours is different of course, since it seems to have a far more wide-ranging effect than the one in that other fic. And I find the idea of Banachek, Wheeljack, and Perceptor trying to study it rather hilarious.

Which leads to another question: does Banachek had sufficient insurance to cover the damages that Wheeljack with undoubtedly likely do?

Lol. Am on the phone with Kam. Ahahahah. She's laughing hilariously.

And o.O someone wrote a similar idea. I plead innocent of any knowledge whatsoever? ^^; I haven't read that many TF fics. I normally shy away from fandoms unless they're praticularly small.

As for your question, :x methinks that Sec Def Keller has the money part covered? ^^;

Yeah, someone wrote something similar. If you give me some time, I think I'll be able to locate it. It was hilarious: the author turned one of the Casseticons female. I don't remember if it was Ravage or Laserbeak. Then again, why not? No one's really sure of what the genders of Laserbeak and Buzzsaw are, anyway.

*laughs*

And yes, I assume that Secretary Keller would have the money part of this whole thing covered.

*snickers*

Oh, and that icon is in reference to me, by the way. It's pretty late up and I need to go to bed, but I don't really care right now.

*laughs*

Coolness. I hope that my idea doesn't sound like a rip-off tho. But when we write it, I'll put a disclaimer nonetheless. :)

Lolz. He'd have to, XD

*huggles* I shall bug you when next you come online. *chu* It was awesome to bug you tho. XD
