It just won't stop...

It's snowing. Again. Has been since before 7 AM. It seems determined to break the old record of 35 inches for December. We were at 28 inches before today, so we're going to come close. At least the snow is dry and fluffy, especially important as I've already shoveled twice today and will probably have to at least once more round. The neighbor and I also dug out the older woman who leaves a few houses down. Toni can't see well and is getting a little unsteady on her pins, so its very hard for her to either clear the walk and steps or walk in the snow. The dogs enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and getting treats from Toni anyway.

I stopped at the used book store and found another Elizabeth Taylor novel A Game of Hide & Seek, which appears to be out of print now. In the first seventy pages, there's a scene that has had me giggling out loud, and others that have me cringing with remembered young love idiocy. It's perfect for settling down and reading on a snowy, snowy day.

Hopefully in a couple of hours, I can get myself motivated to walk a couple of blocks to have dinner with a friend.
