*sigh*

I guess I'd better get busy and see some of those episodes,
eh? ;)

*blinks at screen*

How can I still be so tired and sore from a few days in that
plant? Brian mowed and weed eated the yard for me today. He
didn't have to. He said he'd do it again next time too. That's
the good news. Dustin sold his drums. That's the bad. Seems
his bank lets him overdraw for many dollars and he uses it for
extra money. Then, when they take his whole paycheck of over
500 dollars he's broke. And mad. How can a guy at 32 keep doing
that kind of thing when he knows it's dumb? I'll bet he didn't
get a thousand for the drums (from a music place) and they cost
twice that a few months ago.

Well, the yard looks great. And I'm mysteriously full of ice
cream and potato chips. Hey, whatever takes the edge off. :)

Honey, I know it may be hard, but maybe Dustin doens't know how to handle money. My parents showed me shit-all in the way of it. Hubby's parents didn't teach him either. I'm still learning because I am tired of living from paycheck to paycheck.

It's not easy. It's not easy at all.

Ogod, I know.

I'm not brilliant with math, but if I don't have the figures down on paper and have things planned out weeks in advance, I go bananas.

I just felt so badly for him, selling his drums. But he's trying. He handed me money again, and believe me, that's progress. He used to think he could live here free and you couldn't even leave change lying about. I'm very proud of how far he's come. If he quits drawing on his debit card for money he doesn't have, he will get ahead. He has to learn he can only spend a certain amount, and he has to write down his expenses or he won't know what that amount is.

In other news...What do you think of Firefox? I've always poo-pooed it, but IE was loading so slowly and I was blaming it on Live Journal. So in a depressed state I tried Firfox last night and WOW. It's so much faster that I think *something* must be clogging up IE. I'm gonna use Firefox awhile, and see if it stays fast.

I've been using Firefox for years. In fact, IE 7 mimics Firefox. heh.
