Driving into work today, I encountered three plagues. The first being my State is on fire:
There is visible smoke everywhere like a constant, thick haze, not to mention it smells.
Storm season has started early:
Tropical Storm Andrea stays off the coast and raises our humidity to something inhumanly tolerable.
Love bugs are in season:
By the time I made it into work, my windshield was covered in them. One would think that the smoke and wind from the Tropical Storm would keep them away. Oh, no.
My son received his first academic award for Robotics last night. I was very proud of him. He also found out that with his current GPA he qualifies for a special State grant that would pay for 75% of tuition to any State university or college.
Hubby is home for three days. The hospital called this morning to say the second team to review his MRI found a shadow on his lung. This could mean anything from a glitch with the machine to natural lung shape to cancer. We have a call into his primary and he'll take a look. I like our primary care physician, so I'll trust what he says.
Lack of sleep and waiting will kill me. Why did I give up smoking again?
