Shenandoah Color

Light is what creates color. I sometimes forget until I'm reminded so vividly by nature as I was last weekend. Four of us plus Poki went out hiking through a small section of the Shenandoah National Park, in Virginia. I was so awed by the last attempt at brilliancy each dying leaf made before floating to the ground. When I got back home and looked through my pictures, I was a little disappointed. I just didn't quite capture the grandeur and the way it all surrounded us. Ryan suggested that next time I go I should try to take more images in a panoramic way instead of just one to try and capture an area. This is a great idea because it just didn't seem like I could back up far enough to take it all in though my lens.
