Isn't that a great name for this beautiful yarn? On my first excursion to a Baltimore yarn shop, intending to just pick up some needles, I found this poor little orphan and had to give it a home. I'm proud that my first yarn purchase in Baltimore was from the locally owned Maryland artist Wüllenstudio. This yarn is hand-dyed, merino, superwash sock yarn. Isn't that a great combination of things?
I'm going to make Ryan some socks out of this. I've never made socks as yet, but I've had the desire for a while, now seems to be the right time.
I still haven't found my camera, so these pics come courtesy of my imac camera. Poki is a little irritated that Ryan's socks have overtaken her sweater in the queue. But she's a little irritated about everything these days. Let's hope we can move into a permanent residence soon, for all our sakes!
