Dang, it's been forever since I've last updated!
Well, let's see... School started a long time ago. My classes are pretty good. Except for Eng. 3 A.P. It seems to be kicking my butt! It's a class designed to be Freshmen english class at the college level. We have our P.S.A.T. coming up soon and I have a feeling I won't be doing to well on that. But time will tell. Other than Eng. I'm doing really great. I just checked my grades online, and I'm kinda shocked at my grades.
Chemistry- 96 (hasn't put in our test grades from last class and I'm pretty sure I aced it so it should go up!)
Pre-Calculus- 100 (I got a 105 on our last test! WOOHOO!)
Spanish- 100 (Super easy class, I should be in Spanish 3 Pre-AP, but I honestly didn't feel like pushing myself to do that and also I HATE the teacher and am learning ten times as much with my current one!)
Choir- 100 (if I didn't have a 100, I'd be worried!lol)
Speech- 100 (theatre=not scared to talk in front of people, speech is a blow off class for me!)
Eng. 3 A.P.- 88 ('nuf said earlier)
Balladiers- 100 (once again, if I didn't have a 100, i'd be worried!)
U.S. History- 93 (another super easy class, I should be making higher)
So there's the proof that I'm actually making 5 100's currently! You shocked? I surely am!
Ok, more big amazing news.
I quit all my theatre classes for the year. Yep, no joke! I'm out, and I feel free..... "free as the wind blows". Plus, I got sick of all the drama in drama and to get away from that feels awesome! And since I'm not required to attend all those afternoon rehearsals from 4-8pm, I'm much more active in Student Council which rocks, and I'm able to practice my choir/voice music much more! Oh... which leads me to this... This past weekend we had Mixed Region Choir Auditions which is the harder choir that I've never made. Well, I made the choir!!! WOOHOO! go me, go me, it's my birthday, not really! And, (drum roll please) I made tenth chair which means I am advancing to Pre-Area Auditions! WOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! 104 girls originally signed up to audition for my Alto 1 section and 85ish girls actually audition. So I feel honored to even be in the choir which only takes the top 18 of each section! If I happen to make the top 5 at Pre-Area, then I move on the Area. If I make the top 3 at Area, then I move on to State. But see, from now on, all the auditions also include individual sightreading! AAAHHHHHHH!!!! But I have faith that I can do it. Heck, I grew up in the Church of Christ so I've practically sightread all my life. (For those that don't know, we don't use instruments, it's all acapella) Anyway, yeah, I made the region choir and our performance is Sat. Nov. 12th at Jefferson High School. So be there, or be square!
Oh, more news! Sandy, my dog, has cancer. 3 weeks ago, i found this huge tumore growing on the underside of her stomach and our vet. removed it and sent it to the lab and came back positive for cancer. She's about 9 years old, so she's getting up there in age, but I just couldn't stand to have her die. The vets. said that she could never have another tumor again, or she could have many, it's just to early to tell.
Ok peoples, that's all the updating for now, I'm hungry! Adios amigos! <><
SMILE, GOD LOVES YOU, AND I DO TOO!
