Ok.... something funny to make you laugh...... My dog just came into my room to lay down and as she was laying down she farted. hehe. kinda funny.
So this evening I picked Victoria up from her job interview at schlitterbahn (which she got by the way) and we went to TJ's and had burgers. We ended up leaving at like 8:30, over 2 hours after we got there, and then went to Target where I went crazy buying 99 cent flip flops that I think are VERY cute! (side note, my dog has now moved to laying next to me, and she better not fart!) I had a great time with her and we had some much need girl talk. It was so much fun. I don't think I've smiled that much in a 2 hour time frame since the camp out at Victoria's dads. Gosh, I think we talked about EVERYTHING!
This morning we started VBS at our church and it was ok. I thought last year's was better but some people think the other way around. Oh well! I guess I'm just not as involved so I'm bored a lot more than I was last year. Our theme is "Jerusalem Marketplace" and they've transformed the fellowship hall into the marketplace with all these different shops. There's a Candy Shop (The kid's favorite), a herbs and spices shop, bakery shop where they're actually making fresh bread everyday that smells SOOOOOO good, a weaving shop, jewelry shop, basket weaving shop, harp making shop, pottery shop, and a carpentry shop. There's also a "Barnyard" that has two baby sheep in it and the kids are having there pictures taken with them. The shops themselves are really cool because the kids participate in all of them.
After it was over this morning, a few of us from the youth group stayed after and ate lunch together. Well, they ate lunch. I left in such a rush I forgot to make one. Then we brought Tanner and his friend Chase to our house and they played air hockey and fooseball for awhile then I took them out to their house. I dusted all afternoon while they played, but it wasn't that bad. Then when Teresa got home I went and picked up Victoria, but I've already filled you'll in on that.
I'm finding that having your driving license and money are a bad combination. I'm able to go places on my own and go shoping and there's no one to stop me. I think I'm going to spend my money pretty quickly. (I just got paid today for last week and I've spent 1/2 of it.) I'm going to go, parents are fighting = bad mood = me in trouble if not in bed soon. (Hehe, I think that just rhymed) BYE<>
