(no subject)
Just wasting a few minutes before going to work so I thought I'd stop in and update a bit...
New Year's Eve went about perfectly as I could have hoped. I had a lot of fun in northern Indiana and I think Latasha's parents liked me (which is a huge relief). Latasha and I finally got to exchange gifts and I must say that she did a GREAT job. She got me a few sets of pajama pants/shirts since I have none, a wireless keyboard/mouse set for my computer, and the kicker: a ticket to go with her to the Rascal Flatts concert at ISU on Jan. 28th!
I got her the Mulan DVD (her favorite disney movie) and I burned her a disc of a bunch of songs that make me think of her (sappy I know but she LOVED it). She listened to it that night to fall asleep to and said she actually cried a little bit (good tears mind you).
Of course the next day I had to watch her get on a plane to fly to Utah for a week(actually I couldn't watch her get on the plane...only walk to security). It was surprisingly difficult to do though, even though I'll see her again in a week. I've still been talking to her on the phone each day so that's better than nothing. Regardless, I can't wait until Saturday when she gets back to campus.
I think that's the jest of what's been going on lately
