I am so frikkin tired of this table in my living room! It must go back into the sewing room post haste! Unfortunately I only have one corner of the sewing room cleared out. And yes, I'm procrastinating getting back in there and doing more.
I took Thursday off as my holiday day. M invited me up to Jax which was very cool. Had a wonderful incredible time. We explored the great neighborhood he lives in. Wandered through the funky shops in
5 Points. M napped briefly with me then he went on what turned into a 40 mile bike ride. We made dinner together then went out to hang with one of his friends that owns a coffee shop in 5 Points. It was very chill and low key - beautiful!
We talked so much. We got passed that pesky NRE shit and was able to be very honesty and open with each other. I think I'm going to go up more on my days off even if he works so all of us (M, D and myself) can just be around each other. I'm of the opinion that we made the classic mistake where our visits have been so "event" oriented that we are not comfortable in the day2day with each other.
After breakfast Friday morning we drove, separately, down to the outlet mall in St Augustine. M had to be in Orlando by 5:30pm for an appointment and wanted to stop by his kids' home before hand. To take one car, drive back to Jax, then drive that way again to go home seemed silly hence the separate cars.
M helped me pick out running shoes. I've been getting terrible shin splints in my cross-trainers. I think running specific shoes will help avoid that. I bought some clothes at a Lane Bryant outlet. One of the tops is a 14/16. I'm not that size at but the styling of the shirt is rather boxy and unflattering. The smaller size make it more fitted and attractive. I do so appreciate a man that likes a woman shopping LOL
I hit the 'after shuttle' traffic just about the 407, and then again near the B-line. Traffic was moving but heavy all the way into Melbourne.
Ok... enough! I gotta work on that room some more!
