Green Key was by far the greatest weekend I've had at Dartmouth yet. I'd rather not write a long entry, so i'll make this as short as possible.
Thursday night started the raging. After my midterm, Christina, Nik and I went over to zete for tails. the theme was champagne and 40's. 40 oz. that is! it was a lot of fun and after we had a few punches and white russians, we headed over to alpha chi. there were tons of people there but it was a lot of fun. we didn't stay long because we all had classes on friday. mad props to christina and nik for waking up in time to go to class. i slept through classes but what else is new.
friday was awesome. there was a major block party and lots of bbq's and outdoor pong all afternoon. it was so much fun. tails at sig ep started at 8 so a few of us headed over there and drank different colored punch which were served out of garbage cans. oh so tasty. later that night, reaction speaks, this really awesome hiphop group on campus, played and it was so much fun. cole, the one who rhymes in reaction speaks has mad skills. i wanna learn to rhyme like that. after all our fun at sig ep, we headed out to zete for some pong and dice. christina and i were playing dice with some alums and it was fun. it was an early night, i think i was out by 2 am.
on saturday, the raging began at 11 am with mimosas made by miell. they were so tasty and it was nice to sit out on zete's lawn and drink them. the weater was absolutely beautiful until it down poured for ten minutes. after that, jimmy and i walked around campus, jumped in puddles and he tried to convince me of the advantages to buying cigarettes online. that night, adela, christina, jimmy and i got all dressed up for the 80s party at sig nu. it was a lot of fun. christina knew the lyrics to every freaking song while i was familar with like two of the songs. 80s music is definitely not my type of music. in the end, we all had a lot of fun. after sig nu, a few of us headed to heorot for the dance party. i know, heorot is mad sketchy but what can you do?
samantha says i should be all delirious but if i were, it would be way too obvious.
moral of the story: green key is the best big weekend at dartmouth. the weather was amazing, the weekend itself was great and i had so much fun.
i also came to the conclusion that adrea's best friend doesn't want to talk to me anymore. thats totally fine with me because i could care less at this point. regardless of what either of you say, i shouldnt have to deal with this and i'm not going to. i think i've put up with a lot over the past few months and i haven't made any progress with him so now its time for me to just say fuck it and continue on with my life. he's moved on with his and now i'm at a point in which i can be completely unattached to him in any way. its taken awhile, but i've done it.
