I try to be live & let live, but if you can see Jared looking that raw & complain about the broadcast or share leaks, you are heartless. You'll never be family. Not the family Jared & Shannon need. And I don't think we can be friends.
Over a year ago a fellow Echelon said if it came to deciding between Mars & the Echelon, she'd choose the Echelon. Well, I'll choose Mars every time. Because choosing Mars means choosing the real Echelon. And, frankly, I don't care if you hate that term.
They put on this broadcast knowing in advance that both Mars & VyRT would be losing money. And some idiot tried to create a parallel stream of the event so fellow idiots could watch without paying. You know, fuck you if you're involved in any part of that.
I'm not rich. I'm disabled and on a fixed income and yet I supported Mars at the highest level, plus I gifted about a dozen tickets. So, yeah, no mercy. None at all.
I don't think enough of the Echelon know how much Jared does for us. How many sacrifices he makes. Or how much it hurts him to be betrayed. He was pissed. He was sad. He was embarrassed. He's trying to grow the platform. How does this look to have things fail that dramatically. And all because some idiots couldn't spend $15 for a concert.
I doubt he means it, but he said maybe that was the end of VyRT. As someone unable to attend a concert in person, that would be heartbreaking.
Jared came back at 3:30-ish in the morning (Eastern time) to play songs for us because he felt guilty and because he needed to fulfill his obligation.
You know how Jared says they always leave it all on the stage. Well, he didn't tonight. And he needed to talk to his family and release that pain and give us far, far more than we paid for.
I cried through that entire set of songs. The emotion was so raw. And he hadn't even changed after getting off stage. Think about that.
So, yeah, my patience for disrespect is at an all time low at the moment. And if it is time for us to part company, I wish you well.
To the warriors and the keepers of the gate, we await.
