Lori Handeland's "Hunter's Moon", the sequel to "Blue Moon". Well, I've tried to get into this series, but there's just one thing that continues to bug me. The whole "werewolves are ALL evil" thing. I'm spoiled having read Laurell K. Hamilton's books. She treats all the characters as individuals first. And "monster" refers to those who are evil, not those who are different - furry, fanged, or faerie. *g* I doubt I'll pick up more of Ms. Handeland's books.

Charlaine Harris' "Definitely Dead". *looks on Amazon* This is the 6th book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Good series. Almost a "light" version of Anita Blake. Couple of revelations. One about Sookie's heritage. One about Bill's motives. Sookie dates Quinn, a weretiger. He seems pretty cool. I still like Eric best of Sookie's past suitors. Of course that was Eric with amnesia. *g*

And I'm currently reading C.E. Murphy's "Urban Shaman". So far so good. Joanne is half Irish half Native American and her Native American half is beginning to dominate. While circling to land after a long-ass flight from Ireland, Joanne sees a woman running down the street being chased by dogs, chased towards a man flashing a switch-blade. (She sees this from the plane, mind you.) She gets this desperate need to help her. She pesters the pilot to get the rate of descent and that sort of thing. She jumps and a taxi and says "head northwest". The woman - well she can predict people's death. The dogs ... are members of the Wild Hunt. Things are just starting to get interesting. *g*
