"Open" court hearings on the case of Alexey Nikiforov

Dec 17, 2009 22:51

Yesterday on December 15th, I was not allowed on the morning session in the case of the "extremist". I came to the court in advance. Guards checked my passport, chided for absense of registration of my inhabitaion, but allowed me to enter into the court building. But at the entrance to the courtroom Nikiforov’s guards somehow ventured to check the public documents, although it is unrelated to their official duties. Discovering that I have no registration, they banned me to enter. I asked the policewoman, who did not me in, introduce herself, and asked on what basis she didi not let me exercise my constitutional right. Policewoman did not answer. Then bailiff interposed, and he wrote a protocol on administrative violation. Protocol says: "wrangle with police officers escort. On the demand of the bailiff - not distract convoy duty police officers from performing duties, did not react, [illegible] the requirements of the bailiff for the termination of infringing the rules established in court. During the morning session Nikiforov’s lawyers protested against the illegal actions of the convoy. As a result, after dinner, the Nikiforov’s convoy let me into the court hall. In the evening, when leaving the courthouse, I was again attacked by the same police officer (who, incidentally, checked my passport five times yesterday). He said that he wants to make another protocol, this time - becuase of the lack of registration stamp in passport. Here I was saved by Roman Kachanov (Nikiforov laweyer). Kachanov said that such a protocol was already done one day ago by police Ekaterinburg airport, and policeman could not punish me twice for the same offense. Police superintendent copied my passport and let us go in peace. Now about the history in Ekaterinburg airport. On Sunday I with Evgeniy Legedin, Slava Bashkov and others met with Chairman of the European Parliament's Committee on Human Rights, Heidi Hautala, who flew to meet Alexey Nikiforov. At the entrance of airport police checked passports. I was found the lack of registration stampin my passport. Policeman made a protocol. . Very long walk to xerox my passport. The whole procedure took about half an hour. During this time, a mass of people were entering airport, generally without providing any documents. By the way, a metal detector there was always ringing, but the police did not pay any attention.

I think that at this time any terrorist with any bomb could come. Interestingly, what how the check of register stamp in the passport can ensure the safety of passengers? As for the terrorists to put the stamp in the passport is a big problem? Here's a bribe to cut there, of course, very convenient. After all, of reflected and meet, as a rule, very hurry. To pay off any delays, the money, I think, especially not spared. However, there are other hypotheses about the true purpose of these stupid tests. In Moscow, they say, the police stormed the apartment to those who wanted to meet with Heidi Hautala. So I can say I escaped the troubles more cheaply. Our rulers, judging by their words, very concerned about how to recriut decent people to the police. Basically, all the proposals are to raise Mentovskie (policemen’s) salary. And I think that if any person to make such a deal "work", then after a while he would becaome a drunkard or become become a real son-of-a-bitch. The trouble is that the government itself makes the police to violate the rule of law and morality. Alexander Livchak livchak  livchak.livejournal.com/6231.html
