thing hauls...
Puppy version 1.04 (i think...didn't catch the version install during bootup...it was THAT fast). Runs like the old Windows 95 OS. Course I'm running it on my 2.4 Ghz comp, with 768Mb of RAM....
So...I now have two different Linux distros up and running on both comps. Both different builds. Both booted nearly perfectly to Xwin (Puppy actually found the Nvidia drivers on the first try). Only had a slight problem in the beginning setting up the keyboard/mouse config on this version, but after about 5 min (I am noticing a trend...) I had it up and running no problems.
Still having issues with the actual partition install with PCLinuxOS, but I think I will just rebuild the kernel and do another install...what do I got to lose???
Gonna see what the package installer has for software updates...might have something to play with there...
