It's kind of amazing how being out of Hogwarts can take what was a wonderful friendship and turn it into two people just sending each other cards at the holidays! Life's funny like that! However, your card for whatever reason, prompted me send you your Easter gift early! It's nowhere near as nice of a gift as you sent me (but what could beat something like that, really?! You always had the most brilliant taste in presents!), but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless!
I rather miss our days at Hogwarts, too! Now that you mention fifth year...God, the trouble we got into then! Things were certainly never the same since Snape and Black put us into that ghostlike state!
Scott's doing well, of course, and Jaime's making your old house proud, I'm sure you'll be happy to hear!

I know this is a bit early, but I just heard from an old friend recently that prompted me to send her Easter gift, and I figured that as long as I'm being early, I may as well send everyone's! I would think you could definitely use a pick-me-up right now, too!
This cake was one of your father's favourites! Well, when it was cooked properly, that is!

I'm sending everyone's Easter gifts early this year! I know we haven't really talked much since school left, and I do rather regret the way things turned out, but I always did consider you one of my closest friends!
Oh, don't mind me! I just heard from Emmy Vance and got all nostalgic!
Maybe sometime we really ought to meet up anyway, just to talk! Maybe we can see if Zan would join us, too! Unfortunately Marly...well, you know!
