"I hate leftys..."
Yesterday was muy interesante. I felt so inferior, but it's partly my fault, since I haven't been fencing since...well, a couple of weeks ago, but the last time before that was in March. So yeah, I'm pretty out of shape.
But it was great to see people again! Corinne and Michelle, both of whom I miss terribly, were there. We had some pretty intense bouts. Ktina was there as well, but she kinda ignored me. Which isn't really a shocker.
But we met some people (at the freshman orientation and at the club) who are going to be on the team next year, and they seem really nice! It's so weird thinking about a new batch of freshmen at FWHS. If FWHS ever opens up. At the rate the construction is going right now, we may just get stuck at the Ludlowe campus next year.
Today, the mystery game at Amie's house. I got to be Bernadette Down, freaky gothic artistic pyro. It was pretty funny watching Emily (as the cheerleader, Chantella Sole) argue back and forth.
Em: "God, you're such a brainy loser!" (*gestures to Dan*)
Me: "At least HE has a brain."
So yeah, that was fun. And we watched the edited "ZOMBIE PIZZA" (see last entry of mine for quotes) which was hilarious.
And then when Shane drove me home, we stopped off at Sunny Daes for cookie dough ice cream, and then when we got back into the car, it was playing "Bohemian Rhapsody", and we sang along. Much fun.
Now, I'm sick from all the hot peppers in my Chinese food, and I'm sitting around, watching "Citizen Kane".
Tomorrow, it's off to Paul's!
