Dear Online Community--

I just realized that I am moving to Portland in three weeks--Yikes! I woke up this morning to the sound of rain drops, opened my eyes and became very excited by clouds and wet streets. It was a wonderful preview of the weather I'll be enjoying for the next four years.

Lately I have been spending most of my time with ma boiz--it's almost been like a flashback to February oh 5ive. I spent entirely too much time this weekend being exceedingly cynical about the film-making exploits of megalomaniacal Peter Jacksons.

I plan on the next three weeks going by in a blur, with much to look forward to, namely the following:

In one day--Dresden Dolls and beating up on pussies at SOMA with Bailz

In two days--Cruel Intentions with IV

In ten days--Realizing I need to get my act together and pack to move to a new state

In twelve days--Laguna Niguel with Jax et al.

In fifteen days--My polar bear migrating home (!!!) and over the next seven--Spending every minute of my time hybernating, dating, returning to the arctic circle, and compacting 59 days of love into a week

In twenty-two days--Becoming a Portlander, and getting ready to meet Colin Meloy

In twenty-six days--Trekking to Salem for Decemberists lovin'.

Even with all this to do, I still long for a last few exploits with all of the wonderful people who made oh 6ix siq as fuq, most especially: Da Secret Sesh Krew of San Francisco choir trips, Shanz & Dev, Nate & Pete, Mr. Longiano, the offspring of Giovanni Pecenco, ma gurl Ariana, mattfuckingsoupowstopple, all members of the Fellowship of the Yukon (two-time scav hunt champs), Mr. LaRue, Mr. Malik, Mr. Neilan, Mr. Good, IV, and last but certainly not least in any regard, the only mermaid I'll ever love. Thank you to all you guys for taking me out of my dashingly hermetic, badass and DGAF ways and turning all of my lj posts into fountains of mushy sentimental babbling. I like you guys so much I almost don't even mind--almost.

Yours--
Koomz

Oh and a very important P.S.- Congratulations to Mr. Malik and his gorgeous new macbook pro! I know you two will be very, very happy together, even if you put on demonstrations of your remote to make me jealous--but you'll never break up the love Phillippe (my powerbook) and I have for each other.
