Two Drawings
I have been encouraged by some very kind people to post a few recent drawings. I hope that you will ignore what is wrong with them and enjoy what is right.
I made this drawing a month ago, drew it directly into my journal when two swipes of a watercolor brush suggested a nose. I really like this one. (Note: Both of these images are from photos rather than scans. The color on this one is hyper-saturated compared to the original.) Watercolor and Prismacolor pencils.
I did this drawing last night when I should have been in bed. The color is fairly accurate, though I wish now I had played down the orange-blue contrast. I do love his left eye and the shadows and fringe there, but after that...Oh the sins and errors! *shudders* Prismacolor pencils.
