Week or two in review, with 7V thoughts

This past week or so has been pretty crazy, given the weather, my work schedule, and a 7V event.

Really looking forward to next week, when some of my hard work over the past few months gets to be seen by the public. I will make a post of it when I can :)

Anyway the 7V weekend

The 7V weekend for me was a bit of a mixed bag. I am still very impressed at the depth and breath of the quality of storytelling and roleplaying from staff, npc's and players.

Sadly during the weekend, I was really feeling the event that I missed, as I was feeling way behind on what was going on. Additionally, the weather and the combat conditions were nothing short of ugly, and maybe these factors left me with a sense of being on the outside looking in.

However, there were quite a few wonderful encounters, which I really enjoyed.

My Advisor, Emeris, rocks the house, and I had a wonderful time explaining the calamity that befell us over the course of the weekend, I really also appreciated him filling in names as my brain was mush due to less than 3 hours of sleep the night before.

annthemun was nothing short of awesome this entire weekend, and I think one of my true high points of the weekend, was when we had our arms maimed, and we were held captive, that we looked at each other with pity and called for a "Sympathetic headbutt", and it really worked after the ridiculousness of the encounter. Little did we know, it only got worse.

My team rocks, and it was blast interacting with them for most of the weekend.

Staying with the Crimson Owls, really brought some much need levity over the course of the weekend, and coming back after a really emotionally draining encounter and seeing mobiles of flying castles, really made my day.

Its always interesting to see how much trouble people are getting into and I was pretty much in awe of the amount of trouble that I saw marcus_sez_vote and Ursula was getting into.

It was also always wonderful to see minervaish in the depths of trying to figure out exactly what was happening with the vote, and I seemed to run into her, and be very nice when she was nearly at the end of her rope.

Really overall the interactions were wonderful, the players awesome, the story compelling, and the npcs awesome.

I really wish that the weather had co-operated, and I had a bit more fun with some of the combat encounters.

The past two weeks have been pretty exciting in terms of going into work with looming deadlines, reworking my schedule to get to do somethings at home, and fighting a cold from the event.
