Surprisingly, spring break has turned out rather well. I've usually gotten one or two things to do on each day. Here's a basic breakdown.
Monday, I got to see Katie, which was quite cool. Also, rlambert is in town, and I went to a group social where we used the grill in Donner Ditch to prepare marshmallows on sticks. Also included were important s'more materials, and further there was cinnamon sugar and crescent rolls (I learned it is quite nifty to brown the rolls on the fire and eat them). This was originally planned for a fire circle in Frick Park, but that was abandoned due to wet conditions.
Tuesday was really low-key. It was stunningly good weather. I walked outside for a fair bit, ran a lap and a half around the Schenley track with Nataly. I watched Edwin play ultimate frisbee and threw with him a little.
Wednesday was both Pi Day and Steak and a Blowjob Day. I tried to celebrate both, to some extent. First, the day started at the Monroeville Mall with Grant and Alan. I ate a steak sandwich from Charley's for lunch. Nothing else was too exciting about that, except that I got this coconut monkey head, and I'm not sure what to do with it. In the evening, there was a pie potluck dinner, also with rlambert, which I attended for some time and enjoyed myself. I even got to help in the construction of a spinach-cheese pie with phyllo (sp?) dough.
Today was pretty chill until later in the evening. I got roped into going to Robinson to play ITG at the clubhouse. I pulled off some really good scores, which are certainly getting uploaded to groovestats, but I still don't have a memory card for them. Dinner afterward was at Quaker Steak and Lube, and it was quite pleasant. I don't really think I have more to share about it. The ITG-aware can ask me later about more details if they want.
