My great grandma who began her way of life in time of tsarism lived till my childhood. I remember how she attempted to input to me the belief in God by her crutch. She also tried to feed me soup with cockscombs.

All this is about priority of place above the some material goods!!! And belief!!! The place where you are must be safe, you wouldn't fall there, whatever would happen. Let even the Earth turn over. But it's no way without belief. The Earth will turn over - this is the key phrase.
And just this phrase determines the necessity of living precisely in Siberia.
As for numerous descriptions of burial mounds of Scithians in Siberia, we can see a lot of goods and chattels, but can't see warm clothes. Look at Tomsk's petroglyph images, the federal memorial.
