Quick Brad Update
Quick update on the world's *best* father-in-law. Faithful readers will recall that Brad broke his hip approximately 16 hours after arriving in Cape Cod for a small family reunion, as his younger son, Nick, his lovely wife Aran, and their amazing son Benji were over for a family holiday, Brad tripped over a bedspread in his room and broke his left hip on Thursday, 24 July.
He had surgery on Friday to replace the ball at the top of the femur. Fortunately, he had a really clean break in the neck of the femur. He is recovering very well, and today actually walked across the room with his walker and help from Physical Therapy. Tomorrow he will be transferred to a rehab facility here on the Cape. We hope to be coming home to Tennessee in a couple of weeks.
