Why is it that whenever I see a segment about Sun and Jin it always makes me cry??

Oh man, it made me cry, too. Good episode.

My big question is...that was Hurley on the guy's TV, right? Why was Hurley on that guy's TV? Gosh, our minds were reeling bigtime after that!

Can't wait until next week's episode to find out more about him. I have a feeling that there is going to be a LOT more to him than meets the eye.

I saw that too! I was wondering if I'd been imagining things. I'd been wanting to know more about Hurley for a while- he cracks me up.

That really was a great episode! So many little things-Hurley on TV, Shannon and Sayid, the batteries!! And then next week's teaser!! Seven days is too long to wait! :)

Hurley on the TV! I'm so proud that I spotted him...I usually miss those things.

Their scenes make me a bit teary as well. The shot when they were standing apart on the beach towards the end was just breathtaking...the ocean looked massive and they were going their separate ways...just amazing.

Sometimes I think the cinematography is right on the money on that show. :)

No Hurley-centric eps yet. But you can go here to see what you might have missed.

Boy that was a good episode. I have to admit that I was bit "eh" on the whole Jin/Sun subplot, but that was really good. It was interesting that he beat the inspector guy to save him. I also really liked the scene with his father. I'm not quite clear on why he thinks it's "too late", though.

Totally missed Hurley on the TV, so downloaded the episode to watch it again. There he is! What the heck is Hurley doing on Korean TV? I hope next week's episode is the Hurley episode.

Jin's response didn't make any sense to me either given the conversation with his father that he was just remembering. But I suspect that the writers must have felt that a reconciliation would have been too pat (plus kill good storyline potential) for the show, so I'm guessing that marital bliss isn't on the cards for the Koreans anytime soon. At least Sun can wear what she likes now -- expanded wardrobes are a girl's best friend, you know. ;)

I really like how multi-dimensional the show makes these characters. Some people thought the repetition of the bathroom sink scene was wasted time, but I thought it was brilliant to see Jin's reaction after the fact; it just shows the wall that's developed between him and his wife -- all because he never wanted to hurt her feelings. For the two of them it's like Gift of the Magi gone all wrong.
