Weekend was great! Santa Barbara was beautiful; it was supposed to rain all weekend, but the rain was held at bay and just started sprinkling as we were leaving. :) Did lots of walking, exploring antique shops and all-around relaxing. Wedding was really nice, too.

You don't actually have to register at suprnova; I just downloaded without registering, myself. I'm not sure what the whole 32 hour thing is about. :/ Wacky.

Anyway, you have to be a little patient with BitTorrent and just let it run. It will gradually go faster as it connects to more people. The way it works is that everyone downloading the file shares pieces of it between each other, so as it finds more people to download from, it will go faster. It took between two to six hours to download each file for me (though, I have a pretty fast connection). You can also do more than one file at a time, so feel free to start them going and let them go all night, assuming you have a broadband connection. If it's just a modem, then I'd do one at a time.

It's not always the fastest way to get files, but it's fairly reliable. It will keep chugging away until it gets it all.

I have all seven files now, so if you're still having problems, I can stick them on my server and you can download them directly from me.

And while I'm on the subject, you probably need to download a codec for the files (that's a program that decodes the video file). At least, I did:

Go here: http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml

Then download and run the program where it says "Latest stable binary" (XviD-1.0.2-29082004.exe).
