So there's this cultural practice from native peoples around the world that involves asking others for forgiveness and forgiving yourself for all the things you've done or haven't done, that you were aware of or not aware of, and that for whatever reason made someone else or made you feel less than totally thankful to be experiencing such an amazing thing as THIS MOMENT, with it's smells, tastes, colors, shapes, lines, sounds, textures, temperatures, air movements, vibes, feelings, comforts and any other sensations that we may not be tuned into yet.
Obviously, it's designed to inspire you to be PRESENT with your current reality, whatever that might be (NB: after training/improving my 3D hearing and 3D vision and 3D vibes watching for 9 months (amongst other perception/sensing skills), i wayy acknowledge that folks can have very very different levels of sensitivities for each of those mentioned above, and that these differences completely altered the way I experience d life, heh).
Anywho so now, I ask of you, anyone who reads this, and of the entire universe and beyond to please forgive me for anything and everything that I may have done or left undone that may have made you or me feel less than totally thankful to be experiencing the wonders of this moment.
I particularly ask forgiveness for the trials and tribulations I put myself through last year at my place of employment, testing out what a "career" felt like and often not acknowledging my negative emotional reactions in the moment.
(I acknowledge my fear of meaningless office interactions and my fear of spending meaningless hours in front of a computer.)
[heh, sidenote: this all seems like it may read to be totally religious - and perhaps it is - though I feel I'm making long-term pattern-building connections to immediate reality (the moment) and to all other lifeforms in the moment (all of my relations) and the local environment that frames the moment and then making connections (relating my immediate experience) to larger cycles/stories, both physical evolution (genetic & geographical & cosmic evolution) and creative evolution (or $$memetic evolution$$[see below]), so I guess to me this just feels more accurate and more detailed, more informed, and I personally feel more conscious of what I'm doing than as compared to my experience in religion or with anyone I've ever talked to who claims to be religious... and even still I acknowledge the mystical side, that shit happens that doesn't make logical sense and feels totally synchronistic and magic, haha, and maybe these types of experiences are just the senses that I have that I don't yet know exist and haven't yet practiced enough to master, heh, who knows?]
$$memetic evolution$$... which all life exhibits, else there would be less genetic evolution
For example: varieties within the same species of bird may develop slightly different eating habits, if the populations of each type of variety (distinct from each other by a different eating habit) are geographically separated enough or if they are culturally separated enough (ie: discouraged from inter-varietal mating, like Hassidic Jews), eventually each variety may evolve a different beak structure (haha, no pun intended about Jewish noses, haha), while maintaining genetic-similarities enough to be described as the same species. if this cultural ("this type of food is best!") and genetic ("my beak is best for this food.") difference continues for long enough, eventually the varieties will differentiate into new species.)
