1.) dahon - this one's easy! dahon makes folding bikes! and my folding bike is a dahon.
2.) body modification - In 1998 I started voluntarily getting holes stuck in my body. Most of the information I got came from the Body Modification eZine and I kept reading that site in some form, semi-regularly until Shannon Larratt's departure this year. At some point I was a member of IAM, their social networking site (which predates LiveJournal and MySpace and Facebook, and Friendster too, I think) and even paid to have a membership which gave me access to the REALLY weird stuff.
3.) French - I took 8 years of French classes, spent 6 months living in France, have a French degree, and can still manage to speak, read, write (but not listen to) it.
4.) outlaw parties - I guess I don't really go to these anymore...
5.) pornography - Do you even have to ask? I consider myself pro-porn but anti-creepy.
6.) Whiskey - preferably bourbon
7.) RTOS - Real Time Operating Systems. OSes that run on embedded systems and can provide guarantees as to the completion time of a process.
