*all smiles*
indeed, the acapella version of doushite kimi wo suki ni natte shimattandarou is out today!
not to mention, they are the first non-japanese artist to acheive 4 consecutive 1st placing on the Oricon Charts after 30/40 years!
im really proud of them now! <333
so now, review of the acapella vers.
when i first heard the opening, i thought that it was really different from the original version.
i wldnt automatically link the opening with the song.
then jae's voice starts the whole flow of the acapella.
harmonisation on the "doushite" was great with the echoing harmonising "doushite"
second "doushite" was done in the same style. however, the harmonisation had a little twist to it.
i really love the part with junsu's and changmin's clear voices in the middle before the chorus starts again.
it really puts the song out really simply and nice.
furthermore, i found out that jae's note in the climax part of the song isnt what i always thought it is.
so.. it's gotta be me, or they changed that particular part in the acapella.
then the overlying layers nearing the end of the song...
junsu's "sore demo..." sounded truly heartbreaking.
it's almost as if he's admitting defeat, reluctantly.
subtly wishing his loved one happiness in her new marriage,
even it probably means sadness and loneliness for the rest of his life,
and regretting for not being able to hold her hand tight enough.
he, has matured and has learnt to give up.
overall, i think that they changed their harmonisation style quite a little.
it's not like the previous singles where the harmonisation parts are pretty much easy to guess...
it's good in a way. better voices. they sound more like true-blue acapella people now..
(have been missing their acapella quite a lot)
and yeahh. my first ever music "review"
YAY.
