rahra. SHINee's back! FINALLY.
with their latest mini-album, ROMEO.
at first glance, the cover looked pretty worrisome.
the boys were dressed in peter-pan-like clothings and face masks.
it left many speechless. moreover, it took away the charismatic impressions i had of them,
all i could feel was basically, ridicule.
hmph.
i'm very glad the songs in the album made me think otherwise.
and realised that the boys have so much potential yet to be discovered.
for example, taemin. this boy has the looks, moves and seriously, voice. he just needs to learn and practise more.
his voice in 차라리 때려 (Hit Me Baby) at the 2nd opening line aft Jonghyun's
very velvety and rnb-ish and nice. great job there taemin.
if taemin learns more, i'm pretty sure he will make it big someday.
JONGHYUN.
do i need to say anything? his voice blows me off my feet!
not to mention he looks like a particular favourite object of mine. lol.
he has got so much flexibility in his voice and brings out the esscence of every song beautifully.
he can sing like an asian singer, but has vocal twisting abilities like western singers that are not too common in the current korean music industry.
i dare to say, dongbang's junsu and jaejoong are not classified under the same category as jonghyun.
it's just different. different levels. different platforms.
i feel fortunate to be able to hear him sing.
should there be an opportunity, i would really want to hear him sing live. ^^

his duet with jonghyun was incredible.
i can really recognise his voice now. yay.
he sings with a slightly more nasal and blocked feeling as compared to jonghyun even though hyun sounds nasal too.
onew sounds unique with that blocked voice of his. not to mention, nice.
it seems like he's belting out all the time.
but lulz, his physicla facial appearance doesnt really match his face.
he sounds all sensual and rnb, and what i see is a squishy tofu. xDDD
LEE MINHO AND KEY.
im really sorry but i have to group these 2 together.
i have no idea how to judge rapping and they happen to rap all the time.
so i rly dontknow.
minho looks really dashing in juliette and seeing key in skinnies reminds me of junsu's xiahtic.
so he's perpetually reminding me of junsu.
i love these guys. so admirable and unexpected.
