On Thursday, I had an orthodontist appointment, so my dad picked me up. I left my bike at school because, well, what could I do? Anyway, after my appointment, I didn't pick it up. I figured, hey, it should be safe overnight, and one of my parents can just drop me off on Friday morning. Well, my mom dropped me off on Friday, and my bike was still there. At the end of the day, when I went out to get my bike to go home, I reached into my backpack to get my key. (note, there is a clip in my backpack to put a key ring on) I put my hand in, and my key wasn't there! I looked inside, and sure enough, it was gone. I figured I had left it at home, so I walked to my house. I had to wait there like an hour outside before my dad got home. When he got home, I told him what happened. He suggested I empty out my backpack. I emptied it out, and the key was there. It was in the pocket that the clip is in. Somehow, it had come off (not likely at all if you look at the clip). Anyway, we went back to school, unlocked my bike, put it in the van, and went home.
I think I injured my toe, and not just the initial pain of stubbing your toe either. Yesterday, I was walking in my laundry room with the light off. I all of a sudden hit my toe on the washing machine (ouch). Today, it still hurts. I'm not sure that's a good sign, because it hurts every time I move it. I don't want to go around school with a special shoe on my foot to accomodate some sort of pinky toe splint, so I'll just suck it in.
Haha, my little sister is having a blast handing out trick-or-treat candy. The only bad part is, she's giving a lot of it away, including the good candy.
