Pictures!
i think I finally figured out how to post pictures! However, I'm sorry because i still don't know how to do the link thing... so this will have to do for now...i'm just happy I got this far.
I love looking at pictures that everyone else is posting so here are some from what we've been doing in Jackson...
Our Noodle wars... This is our starting pose. This also kinda shows the building that we live in. We sleep, eat, hang out, practice our skit for the elementary school talent show.. we do everything in this room.
Stenciling a piece of the caterpillar that we are painting as a huge mural at the school.
Fun stop at the thrift store... while everyone else was trying on funny clothes, i found an old biology textbook. I am a nerd... and proud of it.
When we arrived the school had this on the wall for us. It says, "French Elementary is Falling for AmeriCorps" and they all drew leaves for us!
Sketching the flower mural! This is my favorite mural because i drew the "original sketch" It's so neat to see your idea turn into a 50 foot wall painting.

I work with the girl in the middle, Jessica, and the girl on the left, Kristie, in the after school program.. they are standing by our caterpillar. (they are super cool fourth graders)
Lastly, something we did for fun.. we built a fort. And this is me jumping on the couch in our fort.
