"Something for the rag and bone man...."

While millions upon millions of people around the world will be setting their sights on Europe this weekend for some non-stop futbol action, I will instead be tuning into friendly neighboring Tennessee for this:

BONNAROO VIDEO STREAMED LIVE

Starting tomorrow (today) about mid-day we'll get some of that ridiculously vast hippie jam fest streaming live (this is actually debatable, as many of the broadcast times don't coincide with the performance times...), unfortunately only limited to one band at a time. This means I'll get

Andrew Bird
Ben Folds
My Morning Jacket
Flecktones

And might as well check out Devendra Banhart, maybe Oysterhead and Bright Eyes, Tom Petty, Gomez, Les Claypool, moe. (crunchy jams!), and Phil Lesh. Unfortunately, we're currently missing music including Nickel Creek, Death Cab, Bill Frisell, Blues Traveler, Beck, Doughty, Malkmus, Sonic Youth, and RADIOHEAD. What?!...they're the headliners. I sure hope that this gets changed, as I'd rather see Radiohead than anyone.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up, in case anyone would rather see this

than this

P.S. Click HERE to see a short video of Eric Cartman's analysis of this musical phenomenon.
