Hi all.
I know it has been forever since I've been able to post a journal so of course there is a lot to be said.
Been living in Lebanon with Katharine for a year now and all is going well, even though we never see each other. Guess it works out well since we both have opposite schedules that are more full than they need to be.
Currrently I am working at Chaffins Barn Dinner Theater in Nashville as their full time Stage Manager, so I am actully using my expensive Transy degree. Not that this job is putting to use all of my extensive knowledge of theater, but it is a stepping stone to bigger and better things in the future.
Speaking of bigger and better, a lot of you may or may not know I am relocating (temporarily) to Savannah, Ga to film a movie in September. It should be lots of fun and will hopefully give me some insight into whether I want to stick with theater or try my hand at the big screen. If you happen to live in that neck of the woods though don't be surprised if I call and say I'm on my way to visit on one of my few says off.
Now to the biggest change in my life in the last 8 months. I have found myself and wondeful, amazing man. Adam and I have been together for 6 months now, which as most of you know is my longest relationship, and things are amazing. On paper we may not look like a compatible couple (he's 28 and hasn't gotten his degree yet because he was partying too hard in college) but in real life, I couldn't be happier. I didn't think I deserved a guy who would drop everything to come home and take care of me when I'm sick, or buy me roses and little gifts for no reason, but I realize now, I do deserve someone like that. And so does everyone else. We are talking long term, and even though that should scare the shit out of me, I am overwhelmingly excited. Not looking forward to being away from Adam for six weeks during filming, but as the saying goes: "Abscence makes the heart grow fonder" (or is that fungus).
That's all for now, but expect more regular updates since I actually have internet in the house, and a little time to sit down and enjoy it.
