25 Random Things About Me
Once you have been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it is because I want to know more about you.
To do this, go to the "notes" tab ( next to "wall, photos," etc.) on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of your note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people and click "publish". (Since this is from my Facebook and I'm not even sure if I have 25 active friends on here to tag that many, lol, I'm going to bend the rules a bit and tag 5 (see the top of the post)..and those of you who do this can do the same :)):
1. I've lived thus far in three Western states--California, Nevada, and Arizona (since I was 7)--and have yet to make it out to the East Coast. Someday soon, though. :)
2. I have a slightly lower than normal body temperature and therefore, I get cold easier than others. I'd rather be hot than cold.
3. I love coffee and like Starbucks but actually prefer Seattle's Best.
4. Though my musical taste has grown considerably since then, I still like and listen to a lot of the music I did when I was like 13 (Britney, *N Sync, BSB, etc) Hey they'll be considered classics one day! :p
5. I've always loved documentaries and have recently indulged my love of them even deeper (no small thanks to Netflix).
6. I'm a total cat person and am the proud owner of a beautiful, purebred American bobtail .
7. I have fairly recently acquired a slightly unhealthy obsession with music from the 80's and 90's (no small thanks to Music Choice on my digital cable).
8. There was a time when I was a kid that I wanted to be a doctor, then a teacher.
9. During the Dem primaries last year, I saw Pres. (then Senator) Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton in person all within the space of 3 days, in two different cities and on a sprained ankle, which thankfully held out just long enough for me to cast my primary ballot (for Obama, of course :)), before I was off my feet for a couple weeks..
10. My first vote for President was for John Kerry and I am still damn proud of it.
11. I tend to get into TV shows after they go into syndication (i.e Dawson's Creek, Sex and the City, South Park).
12. I live to write and so am thrilled that I get to do so, so often for school and the 'fun type' (Creative Writing), too. :p
13. Growing up, I was (usually) the tallest girl in my class.
14. I honestly don't even remember when I first learned to read..
15. I prefer dark chocolate to milk (and it's healthier, too :p)
16. I think I could be a vegetarian if it wasn't for my pesky love of chicken.
17. I have had braces since August of '07 and hope to finally get them off this year!
18. I'm nuts about ethnic food: Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Indian, etc, etc. Mmm :p
19. I still love Disney movies. :)
20. I had cassette tapes up until 2000 and didn't get a cellphone until 2005..yes, I know, I was behind the times, lol..
21. I'm not wild about heights, but I love to fly on planes.
22. I hate escalators.
23. Poetry rocks my world. :)
24. I have been told that I do good impersonations..
25. I tend to love musicals and "chick flicks" :)
