I hate that we live in a world where if a bomb goes off in London, we have to worry about being next. Those poor people - it's unfortunate that I know what they're going through. Thank god my cousins don't take the Underground.
I drove into work today - the idea of being on the subway made me fear for my life. Even though I would still be in the tunnel, I felt safer. I also kept a distance of about 30 feet between me and the car in front of me the entire time, and (i know this could be a coincidence) it looked like everyone was doing the same as me. I actually considered not coming in to work at all, but I just started my new position and I didn't want to do that to my new boss.
On top of all this, hurricane Dennis sounds like it's going to leave a nice mark on the South.
