I know a bunch of you lovelies on my friends list love to write. Here are a few writing prompts. I'd definitely love to read what you'd say.
1. Write a list of 25 (or just 5!) things you want to do in your life.
2. Write a really dynamic sentence about a pirate.
3. Use one of the following to introduce your story:
*Dripping water
*Stomach growling
*Clearing the throat
*Blood pulsing in the ears
*The sound of water trickling
*The smell of smoke
4. Pick a day that didn't end the way you wanted to and rewrite the ending.
5. Finish the following sentences:
I seem to be brave but really I'm . . .
I seem to be forgetful but really I'm . . .
I seem to be shy but really I'm . . .
I seem to be small but really I'm . . .
I seem to be ordinary but really I'm . . .
6. There is a teenage boy (probably about 15), sitting in the grass next to the road. It appears that he's in the country. He has a box next to him. What happened? What is his story, past, present or future?
