My view on Ships... Just ignore this post if you want.
I just can’t ship Harry/Hermione/Ron or Harry/Ron or Harry/Hermione.
I’m sorry. I’ve tried but I just can’t seem to believe in any of these ships. Or like them for that matter. Is that such a bad thing? Does it make me a square person?
Since Checkmated was out I decided to surf Live Journals a bit last night and read some essays and a few fics defending these ships but I still couldn’t get into my head that Harry would want to have anything more than friendship with Hermione and Ron and vice versa. A trio thing could even be good, but in some other story with other characters, not Harry Potter as I know it. That’s my opinion anyway. I know everyone makes different interpretations of things they read and I respect that.
Ron/Hermione is my one true pairing and any ship that contradicts them is not plausible for me. OBHWF is a good idea but I don’t really mind seeing Harry with someone other than Ginny (het or slash pairing) as long as it isn’t one of his best mates.
Uhf, I really wanted to get that out of my system. LOL
