This is a new thing for me and I'm really excited that my friend Laura introduced me to this. Now I have a place to share my life with my friends and family...
As my bio states, I recently graduated from college. I thought this would be a good thing, but like many recent grads, I realized that the real world sucks. I like the money from a full-time job, however, having all these financial responsibilities and having a fixed schedule to do things and to come and go gets a little old really quickly. Oh well...I guess I shouldn't complain. I am lucky enough to have everything that I want and/or need in my life right now while others aren't so fortunate.
I am kinda stressed right now about my twin sister, Megan. She is in the Army reserves and is currently on alert to possibly be sent overseas. It sucks because she is married and her husband will be lost without her. Also, she was scheduled to get out of the military, however, now she is stuck until her deployment from getting out of the military. Hopefully she won't have to go because it would also put a dent in her finishing her BA in elementary education. Please keep her in your prayers.
About my love life...I'm with a wonderful man, however, I am getting frustrated that after three years, we talk about marriage but that's it; it's just talk. I'm not sure that anything will ever come from it. We love each other and he gave me a promise ring 2 years ago stating that he wanted to get married, but I'm wondering if he's changed his mind. He states that he hasn't, but he is just too busy for me right now. We live hours apart, I work the typical 9-5 job while he works 2-10 p.m. We're just at opposite places in our lives but too madly in love to separate. Weird huh?
