This is the same post I wrote on myspace, so sue me. I only got a half hour break today, so I didn't have much time to write something different.
I am really kind of irritated with myself and people in general. I was soooooo excited that after working 40+ hours last week that I had 3 days off in a row - 3 days!!! I was thinking to myself, "What kind of fun can I have?!?" So I thought on Sunday I could go to Trader's World, which if you haven't been there, I highly suggest it. It's full of junk and stuff that you can't find elsewhere and for really cheap! They also have this pizza place there that is YUMMY! Well, that didn't happen. I spent the day moping around Cameron's farm doing NOTHING! It was horrible. Then we went to my parent's for dinner and all went well, except I got irritated that Cameron kept looking at the clock as if he were in a hurry to go somewhere else. After doing NOTHING all day, all of a sudden he needs to go somewhere?!? Whatever...
Then let's see...Monday was pretty lax too. Cameron had to work 2:00 - 10:30, so the morning was full of picking some corn, watermelons, and peppers for dinner and then he was off to work and I went to my parent's house. There, I was bombarded by my father to help clean out my room to get stuff for a yard sale. He is also plotting to get rid of all my furniture there so he can use my old bedroom for his matting/framing room. For those of you that don't know, my father was laid off by his last employer, hasn't been able to find a job in Chillicothe, and therefore, he decided to start his own business...so if you need anything matted/framed, he's your guy!!). Well, I want the best for my dad and his new business, but I felt kind of pushed out of my own home, the home I grew up in! Then my parents say, "When are you going to get a 2 bedroom apartment so that you can take all this furniture out of here?" Well, if I win the lottery to afford the second bedroom, they will be the first to know! I want a 2 bedroom place, but the extra $100 is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND RIGHT NOW! Geez... So cleaning out my room, helping my mom fix dinner, and then helping my dad organize his matting and framing supplies took the rest of the day.
That bring us to yesterday (Tuesday). I got up at 8:30 a.m., picked green beans while Cameron picked sweet corn, and then helped Cameron load up all the supplies for the Farmer's Market. We got there about 10:30 a.m. and I was there until about 5:45 p.m. It was a slow day. We sold out of everything except summer squash and made $230. Not too shabby. But while I was there, Cameron's mother wants to argue with me about making sure Cameron gets all his money and that no one takes money from him. I get pissed because she is kind of suggesting that I took money from him.

But while I was there, Cameron's mother wants to argue with me about making sure Cameron gets all his money and that no one takes money from him. I get pissed because she is kind of suggesting that I took money from him. I told Cameron about it and he was really pissed at his mom. He said there was an incident a couple of weeks ago where one of his employees for his farm was taking money out of his cashbox to pay themselves without Cameron's knowledge; so virtually, they were getting paid TWICE (not good when you're trying to get a business going!). I didn't mean to cause a riff between Cameron and his mother, but I didn't appreciate how she was talking down to me and suggesting that I was getting paid and she wasn't. So, to vent, I met Cameron at Steak 'n' Shake for dinner. I was thinking it would be nice to unwind and see him for the last time until next week when I'm off...WRONG! For the first 20 minutes into our meal, he was on his cellphone with one of his friends. The first half of the convo was about a machine which Cameron could fix. The other half of the convo was stuff that could have waited until after dinner. He ends the phone call, says he is sorry that he's ignored me, and then we get our food. He eats all of it in like 5 minutes while I'm still eating like mad to try and catch up to him, not that it's a race or anything. He has dinner from 7-8 p.m. so at 7:45 p.m. he says, well, I have to get back to the plant. I wanted to yell, you have 15 more minutes and maybe you could actually talk to me, but I didn't say a word. So I have to get a to-go cup for my milkshake and I still had a ton of fries left, but I didn't get to touch them. I pay the bill (I offered so don't think he was being an ass about that too) and when we go outside, I get a quick kiss, small hug, and he's back in his work truck and gone before I even have my seatbelt and car started. I was mad. He is the one that called and asked if I wanted to go to dinner and then all he does is sit there, ignore me, talk on the phone, mope, or was all angry about his mom. It was the worst $20 I've ever spent in my life.
