So here is Steubenville in a nutshell- bleh. So I am staying at my cousin's house. I don't know her that well, but I barely had to see her. She's pretty busy and I am in her basement studying and/or watching TV. And I talk on the phone a lot. My preceptor is okay. She gives a lot of work, like a journal club (which is not a fun club to be in trust me) and a 45 minute presentation on Diabetes on Monday. At least there is time to read during clinics, and I get to work from home, well I guess it would be today.
So I got lost leaving Steubenville. And I finally made it home. Claude and I got dinner at Panera, and this fact wouldn't really matter, except that I know that this, me putting this in my journal, will irritate him just a little. And we had a great evening together, even though I did distract him from his project, which may have been a good thing, but I still feel a little bad.
And the best thing about going away: coming back home. Miles and I had a moment. He's so cute that I had to steal his masculinity by putting a rhinestone collar on him again. And I know it sounds dumb, but that was probably in my top 3 kisses with Claude, next to Valentine's day and when we met.
I just need to know, why the hell am I hungry at 5:30 in the damn morning?
Finally, sometimes when people ask me about my relationship with my dad, it is really hard to explain. So for those of you who watched Grey's Anatomy- her dinner with her dad is a perfect example. It is an effort on both their/our parts. And you hit that part where it's like, what else can I say? That has nothing to do with being home, but he called me on my way to Steubenville, so somehow it is all tied in.
Last weekend Claude had to fix my brakes for me before I left on Sunday. Working brakes and no squeek= GOOD times.
