So, I'm on the university judicial board. Amongst deliberating somebody says "Gee Frank, you're a tough cookie."
Yes. I am.
Isn't that what it's all about?
I explained to them a little scenario. If you strip somebody of their daily happenings, it forces them to face nothing but themselves and reality. It takes a toll on who they are and who they plan to be. There may be other antidotes to "find yourself" but if you repeatedly fuck up, something drastic needs to take place in order for you to put your life back in to perspective.
So I have a proposition for all of you: take your favorite form of Entertainment and strip it down to something quote un-quote (ready?) "deep". If you didn't follow that last part: Watch a movie / listen to a song and nit-pick as many aspects of it as possible and try to find meaning other than it's entertainment value. Even the worst of things can be manipulated to a point of understanding why people are attracted to it.
THE TEMPS
a selfish breed of people with monistic views that want nothing more than self satisfaction.
they expect a lot but intend on giving nothing in return.
childish and unkind...to the point of being pathetic.
Though I'm a tough cookie, dip me in milk and I get all soggy.
I really don't fall apart though, don't take it that way.
