A geek story
Part of me wants to brag, but most of me just wants to share the coolness of having a thread on the Blizzard Forums with my name on it.
So imagine you're me, yesterday, up in the Hinterlands, turning in that stupid Sunken Temple quest. I turn around to jump off the tower, and see the hugest freaking spider I have ever seen. 55 Elite, I think, but size wise she's just freaking huge. And my first thought is, "Crap, I hope I didn't summon that by turning in the quest..." I see a Tauren shaman milling around down there, but he seems to be staying out of aggro range, so I'm not sure if he means to fight it. I sit there for a while, and it doesn't come at me, so I jump down and start sneaking around it. Then I notice that the shaman over next to it is laying down totems like there's no tomorrow, so I figure yeah - he's probably going to fight it, so I figure I'll help.
No biggie; he pulls aggro and holds it the whole time; I lay down 5 sunder armor on the thing and then dps the crap out of it (as well as a warrior can these days), and being a shaman he keeps himself pretty well healed while holding the aggro. Spider dies, end of story.
But I got a nice thank you out of it! That makes me happy. =D
