It's Hot, Hot, Hot!

We had a lost kitty again today. After Molly's big adventure last Saturday (see Wil's journal for the details), I was hoping for a less heart-wrenching Saturday. Well, this morning Brian was nowhere to be seen or found. He had been happily following me at bedtime last night, but he didn't show for the morning bathroom trip. (Brian thinks that I must be escorted for each and every trip.) It is unusual for him to not greet me in the morning. After 2 hours, he still had not shown himself. Wil and I looked all over for, inside and outside (even though we couldn't figure out how he would have escaped). After two hours of searching, he was finally located inside the mattress of the sleeper sofa. I'm not sure if he was stuck or what. I'm much happier. I'm still worried about him--he was sick last night. I'll spare my readership the details, but he definitely needs to go to the vet.

This evening: shopping for air conditioners and shorts. I outgrew my shorts over the winter. :( Fortunately, I still haven't spent so of my Christmas giftcards. I love Kohl's giftcards.
