Easter!!!
Yay! I've had a lovely Easter. On Good Friday I went to my church's communion service with Chickie (aka Mum) and that was really lovely. The worship was amazing.
Yesterday I had a really really lazy day, which was fantastic, and last night I babysat for my bro and sis-in-law, which was fun. I love my niece and nephew, they're so adorable!
And today, had the family over at our joint. We had a easy lunch, they brought a cooked chook and a couple of platters of finger-food, and I made a potato salad, crunchy asian salad, and my first ever PAV! It was very excellent too if I do say so myself. I must admit, I didn't realise how easy they can be to make! I always thought they were hard, cos they're all meringue-y and I assumed the cooking part was tricky or something, but it's not! The recipe was really straightforward, and there's not really a lot of ingredients in them, which is always a huge factor in me picking up new recipes, so it's now my new favourite desert to make! I topped it simply, with cream and strawberries, it was very lovely. Today was a really nice, easy, relaxed day. Just REALLY GOOD.
