'Nobody knows where you've been'

Well, back to uni. Or, I've been back for a couple of days now, but classes don't start until tomorrow. I've just discovered I need to shell out for eight textbooks so far, and probably more once the subject outline for my other class is published (and six of those are for one subject). Oh, this will be fun.
If anyone cares, the subjects I have for this session are as follows:

HST201 - Colonial Australia
HST210 - Media and Society in the 20th Century
PHL202 - Ethical Theory
LIT214 - Australian Literature

Should be an interesting session, at any rate. Particularly looking forward to HST210 and LIT214 - I get to create my own Australian poetry anthology for the literature class :D

On the other hand, I fail utterly at social interaction - as in, I can only really have a conversation with people I don't know if they start it, otherwise we'll just sit there being all awkward because I am chronically shy like that. And since I don't know anyone in my cottage, and they all seem to be first years who are afraid of the big scary second year (who is probably younger than them anyway, woo!), I have not done more than learn the names of two of them :/

mj is a scaredy cat, life, mj's definition of excitement, boring shit, school/uni
