And further, they would have tied in with the new 3D music video that he had in the works as well (and I hope we're still going to see) -- his knack for tie-ins and building up fan excitement was another thing Michael Jackson was a pro at! m_(-.-)_m

For those of you who may still be confused as to the refund versus keeping a ticket process, a video linked to this one, has a brief explanation as to how a ticket is technically a legal contract. Having studied law and business, I have come to know such facts that everyday people are not generally aware of (a simple supermarket reciept is also a contract). Contracts entitle you and the issuer to specific legal rights -- for example: "terms are subject to change", "limit one per costumer", "no refunds or exchanges", etc. It's a bit tedious but very interesting, particularly when it comes to one knowing their rights!
